Shipping Methods & Tracking
If your online order is regular or express post (Australia Post eParcel) — once dispatched, we’ll send you an email letting you know your parcel is on the way!
You will receive an email with the tracking link. Please allow up to 24 hours for your tracking number to start showing updates. For more information delivery options and shipping timeframes, please refer to the information below.
For online orders, we offer the following options with delivery estimates calculated at checkout:
Regular Post – sent via Australia Post eParcel.
Express Post – sent via Australia Post Express eParcel.
Fast Delivery – get the products you love within 3 hours*, direct from store to your door! Fast Delivery is only available at select Chemist Warehouse stores. *Delivery times will be calculated at checkout and may differ on public holidays.
International Post – we ship internationally with Australia Post. Refer to International Post information below.

For domestic shipping, once your order has been sent – a regular Australia Post eParcel should arrive in 2-6 business days. Regional and rural delivery times may vary depending on the location.Express Post (Australia Post Express eParcel)

We ship international orders with Australia Post. International delivery times vary widely by destination, with shipping to regional and remote locations may take longer. Yes, we offer international shipping to a variety of countries sent via Australia Post. For a list of excluded shipping destinations, refer to our Shipping Terms & Conditions.
For estimated delivery times for your country, please visit Australia Post and select your country to view the estimated times on each delivery service. A limited list of prohibited products is listed for each country.
The following products are excluded from international shipping:
Pharmacy Medicines (Schedule 2), Pharmacist Only Medicines (Schedule 3), and prescription medicines.
Refrigerated products and medicines.
Dangerous goods (including perfumes), such as aerosols and batteries.
Exclusive lines only allowed to be sold in Australia.
Depending on your shipping destination, some other products may be prohibited from entering the country. Before placing your order, please check customs regulations for your shipping destination.
We do not take any responsibility for International Customs clearance and will not provide refunds for any products rejected at the border.
Yes, we deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers for regular and express post (Australia Post eParcel) orders.
Orders containing scheduled medicine (Pharmacy Medicine, Pharmacist Only Medicine and Prescription Only Medicine) are accepted to be securely delivered to your PO Box or Parcel Locker and may require signature upon collection.
For regular and express post (Australia Post eParcel) orders, if no one is home and there is no authority or safe place to leave the package – an attempted delivery card will be left with information about where to collect your package.
Orders containing scheduled medicines (Pharmacy Medicine, Pharmacist Only Medicine and Prescription Only Medicine) require signature upon delivery and cannot be left unattended.
Fast Delivery
Fast Delivery is our on-demand delivery service, allowing you to get the products you love delivered from a store directly to your door within 3 hours* or next day depending on time of purchase.
At checkout, if Fast Delivery is available for your order (based on your order and location) – you will be able to select the option as your delivery method at checkout. Staff at a nearby store will pick and pack your order ready to be collected by our on-demand delivery partner and will be delivered to the nominated address.
Please note, if you are not home at the time of delivery – your order may be left unattended or returned to the store your order was dispatched from, depending on the proximity of the delivery address to the store. If your order contains a scheduled medicine, it will be returned to the store for collection.
Items that are excluded from this delivery option are:
Pharmacist Only Medicines (Schedule 3)
Prescription medicines, and
'Online only' products fulfilled by our Marketplace Partners.
No, delivery fees apply to all Fast Delivery orders. Unless there is an active ‘Free Fast Delivery’ promotional period.
The delivery fee will be calculated at checkout, this fee is based on the distance from the store to your delivery address.
Fast Delivery may not be available to you at time of checkout for the following reasons:
A product in your cart is not eligible for Fast Delivery
Your order cannot be fulfilled from a participating store, or
Your address is more than 50km from a participating store.
Yes, you will be able to place and receive Fast Delivery orders on weekends and public holidays depending on your location and stock availability.
Please note that our Fast Delivery service doesn't operate on Good Friday or Christmas Day.
No, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
If this occurs you will be sent an email to notify you that one or more of the products are unavailable from your order. You will be prompted to choose from the below actions:
Choosing to receive a partial order with the available products; and cancelling the products that are out of stock. A revised transaction value will appear in your account to allow you to finalise your order with payment.
Choosing to cancel your entire order. The transaction value will be refunded to the payment method that the order was placed with, including the delivery fee.
If you do not take action and choose an option within 7 days of placing the order, it will be cancelled.
Yes, you will be updated on the status of your order via SMS or email throughout the process. You can also check your order status by logging into My Account.

No, unfortunately you are unable to make a change or cancel your order once it has been placed. We aim to pick and dispatch orders very quickly to reduce the time it takes to be delivered to the customer.
For information on how to return a Fast Delivery order, please refer to Returns & Refunds.
If you are not home at the time of delivery, someone else at the address can accept your order.
However, if the order contains a scheduled medicine we require the customer who placed the order to receive the delivery. Upon accepting this order, we require the customer to present a valid form of photo ID.
If you are not home at the time of delivery – your order may be left unattended or returned to the store your order was dispatched from, depending on the proximity of the delivery address to the store. If your order contains a scheduled medicine, it will be returned to the store for collection.
You will be able to contact the store to organise a new delivery time or collect the order in-store. Please note, additional delivery fees will apply if you opt to have your order redelivered. We do not offer refunds on the original fee for the missed delivery.
To arrange an in-store collection or redelivery, please contact the store your order was picked from (as indicated in your order confirmation email). Refer to our Store Locator for contact details for the specific store.
Yes, you will be charged an additional delivery fee if you choose to have your order redelivered.
Alternatively, if you have missed your delivery; once the order is returned to the store it was picked from, you can collect your order in-store.

Yes, you can order prescription medicine online using an eScript or paper prescription. Once dispensed, we offer free regular shipping on prescription medicine – providing you with the convenience of having it delivered to your home!
We offer free regular shipping on prescription orders placed and delivered within Australia.

All prescription medicine ordered online and dispensed by Chemist Warehouse qualifies for free regular shipping, there is no minimum spend required.
Orders in Australia that contain 1 or more prescription medicine(s) will be eligible for free standard post via Australia Post eParcel. Refer to our Shipping Terms & Conditions for exclusions.
Free regular shipping on prescription orders only applies to Schedule 4 medicine available to purchase online at Chemist Warehouse.
This offer excludes Pharmacist Only (Schedule 3) medicines and medicinal cannabis. If you have 'online only' products in your cart, these will be excluded from the offer with additional shipping costs calculated at checkout.
In addition to this, Schedule 8 medicines cannot be ordered online (excluding medicinal cannabis). To have a Schedule 8 medicine dispensed, please visit your nearest Chemist Warehouse pharmacy with your prescription.
The easiest and quickest way to order your prescription medicine is by using an eScript. Our pharmacists will receive your electronic script instantly – allowing them to typically dispense your order within 1 business day.
For paper prescriptions sent via mail, please allow enough time for us to receive your prescription. Our pharmacists will only be able to dispense your order once they have received your prescription.
Once your order has been dispensed and dispatched, prescription orders are subject to standard shipping (Australia Post eParcel) timeframes. Please allow sufficient time for your prescription medicine to be delivered.
For all orders containing prescription medicine, a signature is required upon delivery and the order cannot be left unattended.
No, unfortunately we are unable to ship prescription medicine (Pharmacy Medicine and Pharmacist Only Medicine) to locations outside of Australia.
