What is an eScript?

eScripts are the digital version of traditional paper prescriptions. You can access them anytime, anywhere via your smartphone and you don't have to worry about losing them. As a paperless service, eScripts are also a more environmentally friendly option.

eScripts are transmitted and protected through a secured and encrypted system called the Prescription Exchange Service (PES), and only an authorised pharmacist with your permission can access it.
With eScripts, ordering your prescriptions online is now easier than ever! You can submit your eScript to Chemist Warehouse Online to have your medicine dispensed and delivered to your door.

Want to get your medicine delivered to you?

  • Consult your doctor

    After your doctor’s consultation, you can opt to receive your prescription as an eScript.

  • Get an eScript

    The eScript will arrive via SMS or email, as a link to your QR code and token.

  • Find your medicine

    Search for your prescribed medicine using the search bar.

  • Place your order

    Enter your unique token when prompted and place your order.

What if I don’t have an eScript?

If you have a paper prescription, place your order online and then post your prescription to:

Need your medicine and want to collect at your pharmacy?

  • SMS to your pharmacy

    1. Open your eScript from your doctor.

    2. Click on the prescription link within the message to view the token and tap the “Copy Token” button.

    3. Send an SMS to 0448SCRIPT (0448 727 478) and paste the copied token to the message text field.

    4. Follow the SMS prompts to select your pickup pharmacy.

    5. You will receive a confirmation SMS from your nominated pharmacy when your medicine is ready to collect.

  • Submit via a form

    1. Open your eScript from your doctor.

    2. Click on the prescription link within the message to view the token and tap the “Copy Token” button.

    3. Open the Submission Form below and paste the copied token into the text field on the form.

    4. Fill out your details and select your pickup pharmacy.

    5. You will receive a confirmation SMS from your nominated pharmacy when your medicine is ready to collect.
