The Shake'nCool™ quickly cools boiling water to the perfect temperature for baby formula feeding in as fast as 40 seconds. Its design prioritises ease of use, eliminating complicated setups, tricky cleaning, bothersome alerts, and the need for filters.

But how does it work? Built into the walls of the flask is a special heat absorbing layer that extracts the heat from the water without using batteries or electricity.

Q. How does the formula maker recharge?
The Shake'nCool doesn't use batteries to power the cooling. Instead the walls of the unit absorb the heat from the liquid. It takes 2-3 hours on average for that heat to dissipate once the Shake'nCool has been used. Essentially you need to wait for up to 3 hours between each time you use it and it.
Q. How do I sterilise it.
Exactly as you do any bottle flask. All components can be placed into a UV steriliser otherwise all components except the lid can be placed into an electric steam steriliser, dishwasher, or cold water sterilisation. Never expose the lid to steam as it can damage the components.
Q. How do I clean it?
Before sterilising simply wash and rinse in warm soapy water .
Q: What materials is the Shake'nCool Bottle Formula Maker?
The inner lining is make from 304 stainless steel. Durable and easy to clean!. The middle layer contains the heat absorbing graphene composite layer. That's where all the magic happens!! The outer layer is a satin powder coated finish.
Q: Can I use the breast milk in the formula maker?
Given that breast milk should never be heated to high temperatures, this product is really only suited for cooling hot liquids, so it's geared to make up formula bottles.
Q: How does the device work?

The inner layer contains a graphene composite which is known to be a very good conductor of heat. The Shake'nCool uses thermal conductivity to "suck" the heat out of the liquid inside the flask.
So, what is thermal conductivity?
Thermal conductivity is how heat moves from something hot to something cooler when they touch. Heat can move in three ways: conduction (touch), convection (movement of air or liquid), and radiation (like the sun’s rays). Conduction is something we see often—like when your hand gets warm from holding a hot water bottle. Heat always flows from the warmer object to the cooler one.
At a tiny level, when something gets hot, its particles start to move and bump into each other. These bumps pass the heat from one particle to the next, and the process keeps going as long as heat is being added.
Q: How do you clean the warmer whilst travelling?
The great thing is if you are cooling boiled water only, then it self sterilizes given that boiled water is sterile. Most formula brands recommend adding the formula to the bottle and then pouring the water into the bottle. Always follow the formula manufacturers instructions.
Q. Is it safe and permitted to take on an aeroplane?
A. Absolutely. It's brilliant for plane trips. Most airlines will happily provide you with boiled water on the plane.

Returns
We offer 30-day return policy, in which the customer have 30 days after receiving the item to request a return for items purchased from the website. The item must be in the same condition when it was received, unworn or unused, with tags/manuals, and in its original packaging and the receipt or proof of purchase. The customer is responsible for the return postage. If the item is found to be faulty, Cherub Baby may refund the return postage within Australia. Cherub Baby will not be held responsible if the return product/s are damaged in transit or lost. Under no circumstances will a refund be issued if the product/s arrive damaged, used & not in original packaging with any tags or manuals.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
