PerioGold Gel is an oral health product formulated with natural ingredients, based on the established scientific research of its individual components. This unique formulation is designed to help improve your oral health. PerioGold Gel contains the natural ingredients: Curcumin, Aloe Vera and Elderberry with added Xylitol, which work in synergy to help heal your gums and soothe your mouth. Curcumin is a vibrant and biologically active yellow substance found in turmeric, a spice produced by plants of the Curcuma longa species. It is known for its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and antioxidant properties. The health benefits of curcumin have been utilised in traditional medicine for centuries. With innovation in nanotechnology, several scientific studies have explored how microencapsulated curcumin may help support oral health. Microencapsulation is a process commonly utilised in pharmacology and consists of refinement processes that facilitate bioactive compounds incorporated within or coated onto the matrix of a safe carrier material. This process protects the active compound for effective delivery, which can significantly improve its bioavailability. PerioGold Gel utilises microencapsulated curcumin complex in its formulation to ensure the maximum beneficial effect is achieved. Aloe Vera belongs to the succulent species of the plant genus Aloe, widely used in food, cosmetics, and herbal remedies. The leaves contain the polysaccharide gel ‘acemannan’ which is used for a wide range of medicinal and therapeutic purposes, notably for skin conditions such as acne, burns and psoriasis. Aloe Vera is also recognised for its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant and anti-viral properties. Boasting a comprehensive composition of 75 potentially active constituents, including vitamins, enzymes, minerals, sugars, lignin, saponins, salicylic acids, and amino acids, Aloe Vera is a key ingredient in PerioGold Gel to help achieve good oral health. The European elder tree produces a dark purple berry known as elderberry or 'Sambucus nigra'. Throughout history, elderberry has been widely used as a medicinal plant for treating colds and flu. Elderberries are rich in powerful antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Among these are polyphenols such as anthocyanins, flavanols like rutin, quercetin, and isoquercetin, phenolic acids, as well as vitamin C and vitamin B. The Elderberry component in PerioGold Gel is an integral component that supports the immune system and aids in promoting good oral health. - Gingivitis - Gingival Disease - Ulcers
