It is a broad spectrum anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory cream which contains two active ingredients: clotrimazole and hydrocortisone. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which treats the root cause of fungal skin infections. Hydrocortisone is a mild topical steroid which reduces the swelling, redness and itching associated with inflammation of the skin.

What is Athlete's foot?
It's a fungal skin infection caused by fungi that thrive in warm and moist environments like changing rooms, showers and public pools. Walking barefoot in these places puts you at greater risk. Athlete's foot usually occurs between your toes, but it can also affect the soles and side of your feet.
You don't have to be an athlete to get infected and it's not a matter of poor hygiene. Fungal skin infections may feel uncomfortable, but in most cases there's nothing to worry about and they can be treated easily.

How to use Canesten Plus Antifungal and Anti-Inflammatory Cream?
Apply thinly and evenly with gentle rubbing to the affected area twice daily.
Use only until inflammation, itching and redness have subsided and not more than 7 days.
After this, use an anti-fungal cream, such as Canesten Clotrimazole Anti-fungal cream for 14 days after symptoms disappear to help avoid recurrence of the infection.
