Ego Silic 15 Protective Barrier Cream 100g

Silic 15 protects the skin from irritants, moisture and friction, helping to prevent unwanted conditions such as sweat rash, chafing, moisture-associated skin damage and dermatitis. Silic 15 has minimal effect on the absorbency of continence aids. Easy to apply, spreads readily and dries clear allowing for skin assessments while also minimising friction on easily compromised skin areas. 
Helps protect the skin from:
Soaps, and other irritants
Dry skin. Suitable for use on the skin of people with eczema and dermatitis
Irritation caused by contact with urine and/or faeces
Blisters and chafing during sport
Pressure injuries
Irritation in areas surrounding a colostomy site
Dimethicone: 15%

Aqua (Water), Dimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Paraffinum Liquidum, Glycerin, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben.

Helps protect the skin from soap and other irritants, dry skin, irritation caused by contact with urine and/or faeces, blisters and chafing during sport, pressure injuries.

Apply to at risk skin as often as required.
Protection:  Massage into skin before contact with irritants.
Infants:  Apply at nappy changes to help protect the skin against irritation and rashes.
Patients in bed:  Massage pressure areas 2-4 hourly to help prevent pressure injuries by moisturising and protecting the skin.

For external use only.
If irritation occurs, wash affected area and discontinue use. Avoid eyes.  Do not apply to weeping skin.
