Caruso's ANTIBIOTIC COMPANION PROBIOTIC + SB contains 7 Billion CFU (Colony Forming Units) from two specialised, patented probiotic strains. It includes 5 Billion CFU of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Boulardii) - commonly known as SB probiotic, and 2 Billion CFU of Lactobacillus rhamnosus (LGG®). Additionally, it contains Gum Arabic and Zinc Glycinate.
This dual action formula helps maintain friendly gut flora during antibiotic use and helps reduce the occurrence of symptoms of traveller's diarrhoea. Additionally, it relieves diarrhoea in both adults and children. To Relieve Diarrhoea & Help Maintain Friendly Gut Flora During Antibiotic Use: Take 2 hard capsules daily.
To Help Reduce Occurrence of Symptoms of Traveller's Diarrhoea: Take 2 hard capsules daily; for 5 days prior, and during travel.
To Support Intestinal Friendly Flora & Healthy Immune System Function: Take 1 hard capsule daily.
Take with food, at least 2 hours after antibiotics, or as advised by your health professional.
• If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.
• Contains sulfites.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding - seek the advice of a healthcare professional before taking this product.
• Mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
• Use in children only under adult supervision.
• Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists for more than: 6 hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3 to 6 years or 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years.
