1. Place the scale on a hard & flat surface to ensure the greatest accuracy and repeatability.
2. Press "Unit" button to change to unit you need; there are three units to choose from: lb/kg/St.
3. Stand on the scale with your weight distributed evenly and wait for the weight to show on display screen. When the weight is set, the figure will flash 2 times and stay on the screen.
4. Please be sure to steadily step on the scale surface and maintain your balance.
WARNING
This product includes batteries in the box, but they are not installed. Keep batteries out of reach of children. Only adults should install the batteries. Small batteries can cause serious injury or death if swallowed. Never allow children to handle loose batteries.
IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION & SAFETY:
- This product is supplied with batteries in the box but not installed. Battery installation and removal should be performed by an adult.
- Ensure the battery compartment is always properly closed and secured.
- Use only the battery type specified.
- Insert batteries with correct polarity (+/−) as indicated.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel–cadmium) batteries.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Rechargeable batteries must be removed before recharging and only recharged under adult supervision.
- Remove exhausted batteries promptly and dispose of them safely.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire – may explode or leak.
CAUTION
- Place the scale on a flat, dry, and stable surface. Stand in the centre of the scale to avoid slipping or inaccurate readings.
- Keep the tempered glass dry at all times.
- Do not allow water to enter the scale, especially where the glass is bonded to metal, as this may damage electronic components.
- Do not immerse the scale in water.
- Clean the scale with a damp cloth only. Avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not store the scale in an upright position when not in use.
- Remove batteries if the scale will not be used for an extended period.
