Inflamax

Inflamax Spray is a topical anti-inflammatory that provides effective temporary relief from muscle, tendon and ligament pain by reducing inflammation. Inflamax Sprays contains the active ingredient diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which is commonly used for the treatment of pain associated with inflammation.

Inflamax Spray has an innovative spray system, which allows for a quick and easy application. Once sprayed onto the skin, the liquid develops into a gel-like consistency and aids penetration into the skin to enhance the delivery of diclofenac to the inflamed area.

Inflamax

What does it do?

Inflamax Spray provides temporary pain relief for short-term (up to 2 weeks) local symptomatic treatment of the following acute soft tissue injuries and localised soft tissue rheumatism:

• Sport injuries

• Sprains and strains

• Tendinitis and bursitis

Mode of Action:

Inflamax Spray contains the ingredient lecithin, which enhances the penetration of diclofenac into the skin by breaking down fat cells.

What else can I do to relieve muscle pain caused by a sport injury?

• Rest - and take a break from any activity that may cause pain, as continued use can delay the healing process.

• Ice - helps reduce pain and swelling. Apply an ice or cold pack for 20 minutes every 2 or 3 hours for the first 48 hours.

• Compression - can decrease the swelling. Wrap the sore area with an elastic bandage. Avoid wrapping too tightly.

• Elevate - the sore area while sitting or lying down. Try to keep it at or above the level of your heart.

• The No Harm protocol should also be applied - no heat, no alcohol, no running or activity, and no massage in the first 48 hours. This will ensure decreased bleeding and swelling in the injured area.
