Cascara is traditionally used as a stimulating laxative herb in Western Herbal Medicine. It works by increasing muscle contractions in the intestines which helps to move poo through the bowels, relieve constipation and increase bowel evacuation.
Yellow Dock is traditionally used in Western Herbal Medicine to improve bowel regularity and increase the elimination of bowel waste.
Fennel is traditionally used in Western Herbal Medicine to support healthy digestion and to reduce some of the other uncomfortable symptoms of constipation such as embarrassing wind and abdominal bloating.
Green Banana Powder is a source of
resistant starch. Resistant starch is a unique combination of soluble, insoluble and fermentable fibre.
