What is Eyezep Eye Drops and how can it help?
EYEZEP is a non-drowsy antihistamine which contains the active ingredient azelastine hydrochloride and is used for the treatment and prevention of seasonal and non-seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, caused by allergies, such as to pollen or house dust mites. The effects are red, itchy and/or watery eyes, sometimes together with sneezing or a runny, itchy or blocked nose.1,2
Can I take Eyezep Eye Drops and Azep Nasal Spray together?
Yes, they can be used together for the relief of nasal hayfever symptoms and red, itchy allergy eyes. Both products contain the same antihistamine in different formulations and are used to relieve the below symptoms:
What is hayfever?
Hayfever can affect nearly 20% of Australians every year.4
Hayfever is caused by an allergic reaction to airborne allergens, such as pollen, dust mites, mould spores and animal dander. Also called allergic rhinitis, hayfever can affect both the nose and the eyes.

Do not give EYEZEP to a child under 4 years, unless
directed by the child's doctor.
The safety and effectiveness of EYEZEP in children under 4
years have not been established.
Do not use EYEZEP after the expiry date printed on the
pack.
Do not use EYEZEP after 4 weeks of first opening the
bottle.
Do not use EYEZEP if the packaging is torn or shows
signs of tampering.

Step 1: Wash your hands. Tilt your head back and gently pull your lower eyelid down to form a pouch.
Step 2: Carefully squeeze one drop into the eyelid pouch.
Take care not to let the dropper touch your eye.
Step 3: Release your eyelid and gently press on the inner corner of your eye near your nose. Close the eye gently. Blot away any excess medication.
Repeat for the other eye.
Do not use Eyezep after the expiry date
