Medicinal cannabis prescription orders are subject to standard delivery times once your prescription has been received and dispensed. Please allow sufficient time for delivery so you do not run out of medicine.

Orders for medicinal cannabis will require valid form of government-issued photo ID and signature on delivery. The shipment will not be left unattended, even if you have an 'Authority To Leave' for your address.

eScripts are the digital version of traditional paper prescriptions.

You can access them anytime, anywhere via your smartphone and you don't have to worry about losing them. As a paperless service, eScripts are also a more environmentally friendly option.

eScripts are transmitted and protected through a secured and encrypted system called the Prescription Exchange Service (PES), and only an authorised pharmacist with your permission can access it.

With eScripts, ordering your prescriptions online is now easier than ever! You can submit your eScript to Chemist Warehouse Online to have your medicine dispensed and delivered to your door.

How will my medicinal cannabis order be delivered?

Due to regulations, all medicinal cannabis orders are delivered securely by Airlock Post.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We aim to deliver your items within these timeframes. However, from time to time our delivery partners will experience delays outside of our control. For updates on your order status, please refer to the tracking information provided with your order confirmation.

Do I need to be home to accept my delivery?

Yes, you must be home to accept your delivery. Upon delivery, you'll need to provide a signature and present a valid form of government-issued photo ID which will be matched against the name on the order.

Your order will not be left unattended, even if you have an 'Authority to Leave' arrangement for your address.

What happens if I'm not home?

If you are not home to receive your order, it will be taken to a nearby Post Office. An email and SMS will be sent to you with the collection details. When collecting your order from the Post Office, you will need to bring a valid form of government-issued photo ID. This will be matched against the name on the order.

Your order will remain at the Post Office for 10 days; if it is not collected within this time, your order will be cancelled and you will receive a refund for the cost of the item(s).

Can I get medicinal cannabis delivered anywhere in Australia?

We deliver everywhere in Australia except Christmas Island, Norfolk Island and Lord Howe Islands.

How much will delivery cost?

There are extra requirements when shipping medicinal cannabis – this means that unfortunately these medicines are excluded from our free shipping on prescriptions offer.

Spend over $200 on medicinal cannabis to receive free Airlock Post delivery. Otherwise, the flat rate for delivery is $9.99 for your medicinal cannabis order. For additional Chemist Warehouse or Marketplace items in your cart, you will be charged a separate shipping fee.

Can I order using a paper script?

No, we are only accepting eScripts for medicinal cannabis orders.

Can I order on behalf of someone else?

Yes, you can order on behalf of someone else. However, the name on the order must be the same as the person accepting the delivery. You will need to provide a valid form of government-issued photo ID on delivery which will be matched against the name on the order.

Can someone else accept the delivery on my behalf?

Yes, you can attend any Chemist Warehouse pharmacy with your medicinal cannabis prescription and have it dispensed. Unfortunately Click & Collect is not available for medicinal cannabis at this time.

Is medicinal cannabis subsidised by the PBS?

No, medicinal cannabis is not subsidised by the PBS.

My script has repeats, can I order multiple supplies at once?

No, repeats of medicinal cannabis must be dispensed in accordance with the repeat interval specified by your doctor. Please speak with your doctor if you need your medicinal cannabis dispensed at more frequent intervals.
