Terms and Conditions

1.            The Promoter

The Trustee for CW Media Trust ACN 606 548 298, ABN 43 913 252 975, 6 Albert Street Preston, Vic 3072, on behalf of the Chemist Warehouse and e-Pharmacy group.

2.            Terms of Entry

(a)          Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Competition entries can be made from 12:01am AEDT on Thursday 29 February 2024 until 11.59pm AEDT on Wednesday 24 April 2024 (“Competition Period”) through the Promoter’s websites:


(b)          Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be eligible or accepted. 

(c)           Entries that are incomplete, illegible or indecipherable will not be valid and will be deemed void.

(d)          To enter, during the Competition Period:

i)                    Purchase any Synx footcare product in a single transaction at any Chemist Warehouse or at

ii)                  visit one (1) of the Promoter’s websites (as listed in clause 2(a) above, based on the store of purchase) and fully complete and submit the competition entry form with all requested details and upload a copy of their receipt for purchase.

(e)          Failure to submit the proof of purchase for all entries may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) uploaded must clearly specify the store of purchase as an eligible store and that the purchase was made during the Competition Period but prior to entry.

(f)            The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are lost, stolen, illegible, misdirected or damaged however caused.

(g)          Submitting an entry constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

(h)          Limit one (1) entry permitted per eligible transaction. Multiple entries by eligible entrants are accepted, subject to entrants holding multiple proofs of purchase with different valid purchase receipt numbers.

3.            Who May Enter

(a)          Entry to the Promotion is open to Australian residents in all eligible states/territories who fulfil the method of entry requirements and are 18 years of age or older.

(b)          The Competition is not open to:

(i)            Employees of the Promoter;

(ii)           Parties to whom the Promoter has contracted work in relation to this Competition;

(iii)          Parties who are otherwise directly involved with this Competition; and

(iv)          Any immediate family members or any of the abovementioned parties.

4.            Prize

a)      2 x economy airfare tickets to Greece (Athens) from the winners closest capital city of residence

b)      5 x nights’ of 4 star accommodation Athens (twin share)

c)      Any left over funds after booking winners flights and accommodation will be transferred to the winners nominated bank account via EFT by Synx (to reach the total prie value of $10K AUD).

d)      Total prize pool value is $10,000 AUD.

5.            Selecting the Winners

(a)          The Competition winners will be selected randomly via. a number generator by internal digital Chemist Warehouse team. The Competition will be drawn at Chemist Warehouse head office, 6 Albert Street, Preston VIC 3072 at 5:00pm AEDT on Tuesday 30 April 2024. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.

(b)          The Competition winners will be notified by SMS or email within seven (7) days of the draw.

(c)           If within one month after the determination of the winners of the lottery, a prize (other than a prize consisting of perishable goods) has not been claimed by the winners, the prize winner will forfeit their right to the prize.

(d)          If the prize is unclaimed, the Promoter will re draw at Chemist Warehouse head office, 6 Albert Street Preston, Vic 3072 on Monday 3 June 2024 at 10:00am AEDT and publish these details on the below sites on Tuesday 4 June 2024 by 5:00pm AEDT. The winners will be notified in writing within 7 days of the re-draw date.


(e)          A person purporting to be a prize winner may be required to provide proof of identity and to verify any other eligibility requirements.

6.            Publication of winner’s details

The Promoter will publish the Competition winners on the following websites on Wednesday 1 May 2024 and that information shall remain posted there for at least 28 days.


7.            Privacy and use of personal information

(a)          In accordance with the Privacy Act (1988) (Cth), the Promoter notifies entrants that entry to the Competition involves the collection of personal information about entrants, such as their name, address, mobile phone number and email address.  This is collected for the purpose of establishing eligibility, carrying out the Competition and notifying the winners.  If the information is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the Competition.  Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State Lottery agencies and winners name published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. 

(b)          Each entrant consents to the Promoter using their personal information provided in connection with their entry, for the purposes of undertaking any investigation in connection with verifying the identity of an entry or any suspected tampering. 

(c)           Each entrant consents to the Promoter and its authorised licensees using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or photograph and voice in the event that they are the winner, in any media for an unlimited period of time, without remuneration or compensation, for the purposes of promoting the outcome of this Competition and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. 

8.            Discontinuation of the Competition or Disqualification of an Entrant

(a)          Subject to State legislation; The Promoter reserves the right to discontinue the Competition at any time and in its sole and absolute discretion may cancel, terminate or modify the Competition without the need to provide compensation to entrants or attempted entrants.

(b)          The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with (or whom the Promoter reasonably suspects has tampered with) the entry process or the winner selection process or who has otherwise been misleading or fraudulent in the course of the Competition or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Competition. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

9.            Exclusion of Liability

(a)          The Promoter and Synx make no representation nor provide any warranties as to the quality or suitability of the prizes offered.

(b)          The Promoter and Synx are not responsible for any losses associated with any change to the value of any prizes.

(c)           To the extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter or Synx are liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any person or to personal property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its servants or agents, in connection with this Competition, including but not limited to, the arrangements for the supply of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner and where applicable, to any person or persons accompanying the prize winner.

(d)          If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

(e)          The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to this Competition will be final.

(f)            The Promoter is under no obligation to provide reasons for any of its decisions.

(g)          The Promoter is under no obligation to engage in any form of correspondence whatsoever with entrants or purported entrants, or their representatives, in any matters relating to the Competition.

(h)          Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take / claim a prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.

(i)            Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.

(j)            Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.

(k)           The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries/votes submitted by that entrant invalid.

(l)            A condition of accepting the prize, a winner may be required to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
