- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION

Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Information
Convenient and effective treatment that works in only 10 minutes. Safe and easy to use on all hair types.
Clinically trialled to effectively kill head lice & their eggs.
Formulated with no pesticides or harmful chemicals. Contains a natural oil matrix of tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil.
Apply the solution to dry hair. Ensure sufficient product is applied so that the hair is thoroughly wet, including the back of the neck and behind the ears.
Massage the solution into scalp. Ensure it doesn't enter the eyes or ears. For best results, leave the solution on the hair for 10 minutes.
Remove all tangles from hair. Separate one-inch sections of the hair, place the comb as close to the scalp and tightly comb he hair at a 45 degree angle. Wipe the lice and nits completely from the comb with a tissue. Pass through the same section many several times and repeat this procedure until the entire head is complete.
Wash hair using ordinary shampoo. Conditioner is not necessary. You may need to wash the hair a few times to completely remove the solution. Repeat treatment after 7 and 14 days as required.
General Information
KP24 Rapid with LPF is the latest innovation in head lice treatments. The rapid formula kills head lice and their eggs, and the specially developed Lice Protection Factor (LPF) protects against reinfestation.
What is KP24 Rapid with LPF for?
KP24 Rapid with LPF kills lice and protects against further infestation. The rapid formula kills head lice by dehydrating them rapidly and suffocating them, while the specially developed lice protection factor (LPF) inhibits reinfestation by making hair less attractive for lice to crawl upon. A metal comb is included to physically remove the lice from the scalp.
Who is KP24 Rapid with LPF for?
The KP24 Rapid with LPF and is suitable for use on any child over the age of 12 months with a head lice problem. KP24 Rapid with LPF is not advised for pregnant women.
When should I use KP24 Rapid with LPF?
KP24 Rapid with LPF should be applied at the first sign of a head lice infestation.

Directions
Massage into the scalp. Leave on the hair 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, rub a small amount of water into the treated hair. Lather, then rinse out with lukewarm water. Use the enclosed metal lice comb to remove the dead head lice and their eggs.
For external use only. keep out of reach of children. Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth and other delicate mebranes. If product gets into the eyes, flush with clean water immediately, Do not use if pregnant or likely to become pregnant without the advice of a healthcare professional. In case of rash or sign of irritation/allergy, stop treatment immediately and wash hair with regular shampoo, and rinse with clean water. Keep treated hair away from naked flame or heat source. Do not smoke while using this product. This product is only suitable for head lice (not for pubic nor body lice). Not for children under 12 months. Care should be taken when applying the product as it might make hard surfaces slippery. You should protect clothing and upholstery with a towel as this product can stain fabrics.

PREVENTS LICE AND SMELLS GOOD
this really has a pleasant smell -- I haven't had lice since purchasing it - didn't have lice to begin with but better be safe than sorry - prevention is better than cure just wish they could make one like for pets that you only apply once a month

Always choose KP24 for lice treatment
This was so effective in removing bits and lice . Immediate relief from lice itch and smells great too. The metal comb included saved me from stressing over going to get extra combs during the nit removal process.
