AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION

Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

I have been buying this cream for a while now. Love it! The scent is nice, the texture is soft and easy to apply, my skin feels and looks plumpier. The only thing I don't like is the residue on the skin thar it leaves, I can literally srape ir off even after a couple of hours. So a good cleanser is a must with this cream.

I have fairly dehydrated skin and decided to purchase this day cream as it contains Hyaluronic Acid which is well known to add hydration to the skin. This cream has a thick yet non-greasy texture that absorbs well into the skin. It has a pleasant scent and doesn’t cause any irritation to my skin. This cream certainly does help hydrate my skin and plumps up fine lines. It is a little pricey but does work well to provide deep moisture to the skin, so it’s ideal for slightly drier more hydrated skin types.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new revitalift cream is extremely light weight and smooth. A little product goes along way making your skin feel soft and hydrated. I did notice a small amount of change in my skin my fine lines started to lessen and my overall appearance was more uniformed. The thing I liked about this the most that it was amazing under makeup, it wasn’t oily and became a great moisturising base.
