Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION

Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

I wanted to start chatting my BBT while trying to fall pregnant as I've heard it can be very helpful. The thermometer is easy to use and read. It's cheap to which is always an added bonus. Only thing, it's starting to run out of batteries already. You can hear it in the beeping tone. I haven't even had it for a month yet.

Not as good as I expected
I found this thermometer a little disappointing. It works, but takes 30 sec to reach it's temperature, which is a lot longer than my old thermometer. It isn't backlit, which is a problem for me because I need to measure my BBT before I get up, often in the dark. The screen is also very small, which means I have to squint in my half awake/pre-glasses state to be able to read it. But, it does the job.

Bought this thermometer. Takes about 1-2 minutes to read temperature. No light in the screen so you can’t see in the dark. Also about 2 degrees if not more to other thermometers. Don’t recommend.

Useless
Terrible product. Never reads body temperature consistently and it’s not accurate. Takes a long time to read unlike what the description says. It’s not cheap and doesn’t function as how it should be? Not worth it at all... I’m hoping that my one was faulty so the other ones of these products that work fine.

When I try to use thermometer, show me LOW battery so I find the new battery then still the same. I was thinking maybe battery problem so I try again is same thing coming out. This is a poor quality thermometer.

Inaccurate
I get incredibly random and very low temperatures. I tested it again a normal thermometer and it was consistently 1 to 2 degrees off! I was so confused by my chart and this explains why. I'm going to invest in a better product that is hopefully more accurate as i don't trust this one.
