MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION

Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Nature's Own Triple Strength Garlic Horseradish + C formula is a combination of herbs that provide antibacterial and mucolytic action. This combination is particulary useful if suffering from a cough, cold, mucous congestion or upper respiratory tract infection. Garlic provides antibacterial action to help fight nasty bugs while the horseradish helps promote mucous clearance from the respiratory tract and vitamin C supports a healthy immune system.

Ingredients
Horseradish (Armoracia rusticana) extract equiv. to dry root (2g) 2000mg
Garlic (Allium sativum) extract equiv. to fresh bulb 1200mg (1.2g)
Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) 500mg
Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) extract equiv. to dry seed 50mg
Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) extract equiv. to dry root 50mg.
Contains: No added yeast, gluten, lactose, sugar, artificial colours or flavours, artificial sweeteners or preservatives, dairy products or animal-derived products.
Directions
Take regularly 1 tablet twice daily for cold symptoms, for other symptoms take 2 tablets twice daily with food or as recommended by your healthcare professional.

Great to fight off colds
I have been a long time user of Garlic and Horseradish tablets. I start taking them in April and continue right through winter. As someone who works with children, the tablets create an extra barrier. They're an excellent product.

THEY WORK
I can across these by chance. Felt a cold coming on and bought a small bottle.I have had nasal congestion for years but these definitely help. I’ve since bought them in bulk.Highly recommend them.
