MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
-
Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Nostalgic Perfume
I was thinking of this perfume I used to wear a long time ago in France and got an urge to get it. Was at Chemist Warehouse and asked if they stocked it, and guess what!!! They did!! Not in my usual close store but in others so I decided to buy it on line, free shipping and at my door in 2 days!!!! Well, although it is not quite the same as it used to be (I've probably changed..lol) I still love it and wear it all the time. And my friends love it!!!

Little-known Gem
Rochas Femme represents the perfect crossover from vintage to modern fragrances, Femme is an extremely feminine fragrance good enough to be a signature scent that smells far more expensive than its price. Bergamot, peach, pear, rose, jasmine, ylang ylang, amber, oakmoss and sandalwood. The opening is glorious. Wearable at all times, but to my mind cooler weather seems to be more complimentary to some of the notes so I’d say it’s somewhat more suited to autumn/winter. Femme brings to mind ultra-feminine Italian beauties Sophia Loren and Gina Lolobrigida. This is a very classy, very fine fragrance indeed – a true little-known treasure. So beautiful! Do yourself a favour!

Great old perfume - but strong
I wouldn't normally buy this but the price was so good for a Rochas. It smells lovely, but use sparingly. A good addition to help get you out of a groove if you always wear the same thing. If only Chemistwarehouse could now find Mystere de Rochas.
