MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION

Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Audiclean Ear Cleansing Wash is a gentle and effective way to clean ears from excess ear wax. When used 2-3 times a week, Audiclean helps prevent wax build-up and leaves ears feeling clear and fresh.
Allow at least 10 days of regular use to adapt to the refreshing experience of Audiclean giving your ears a new feeling of cleanliness

Warnings
Audiclean should not be used without seeking medical advice if there is a history of ear problems, pain and discharge from the ear, a foreign body in the ear, perforation of the ear drum or if grommets have been inserted.

Ingredients
Natural, chemical-free, pH balanced, isotonic seawater, sterile formula and rich in bicarbonates
Directions
1) Insert nozzle into ear; keep head upright
2) Depress for one second; leave in ear for 10 seconds
3) Gently tilt head to drain and dry with a clean towel.

Excellent product.
I used to get hard wax build up in my ears and would have to get them syringed. I have used Audiclean 3 times a week for about 7 years and haven't had hard wax build up in my ears since. It is easy to use and I feel it is well worth the cost.

Overpriced Sea Water
Whether or not this works for you, it is still terrible value and you (and the environment) are better off going for a swim at the beach or making up some salt water solution in the kitchen. That is the only ingredient - seawater. Notice it is only 60mL - roughly half of those tiny bottles you can take on an airplane. This is literally the size of a large tube of toothpaste with a third of the liquid content. The bottle is huge to mislead customers; thick and heavy plastic to make you feel like you're getting a lot. Terrible.
