MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
-
Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Great hair tie
My hair is quite thick and it's of medium/long length so finding a hair tie that will hold my hair together can be quite difficult. These snag less elastics are great because it holds my hair together without pulling at it or stretching. Whether I put it up in a top knot or a high ponytail it keeps my hair in place and I don't have to worry about it falling down or getting lose. Overtime my hair ties tend to become stretched and then I have to toss them out. these hair elastics hold up pretty well and will last for months. They also don't have any metal on the elastics which means it won't get caught in your hair or cause breakage. Whether your hair is curly, straight, thick or thin, these elastics work really well and they're of high quality!

The taking of the long hair
These hair elastics are a lifesaver for long hair. Now you can comfortably and securely tie it up and not worry about it. There are no horrible tangles when you try to pull them out at the end of each day and they last long enough that I generally lose them before I wear them out

Good hair bands, a little too thin for me
I have really thick, long hair so when buying hair elastics I always go for strong thick bands other thin ones. But I bought this online and although they are good quality, they are too thin for my hair.

No longer good quality. Stretch too quickly
I’ve bought these for years but the last few packets have been terrible. I can only wear each elastic 2-3 times before it stretches and becomes useless.
Rather than constantly replace these I am going to try different brands.
