MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION

Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Directions
Bridges, Braces, Implants and Wide Spaces:
- Using the stiffened end, thread the spongy-floss between teeth and appliance or through wide spaces.
- Use a soft back-and-forth motion to help remove bacterial plaque.
- Pull the spongy-floss through to the regular floss section. Gently slide the regular floss under the gumline. Use an up-and-down motion to remove plaque.
Regular Teeth:
- Gently slide regular floss between teeth and under the gumline. Clean under the gumline as directed above. Use a fresh section of floss for every tooth.

Does the job
Have a bridge and to ensure nothing gets stuck in the gap push the Superfloss through the gap. Does the job. I also use the floss to floss the rest of my teeth. However I find that you have to be careful and ensure that you shift the floss along while flossing otherwise it tends to break very easily.

Threads through my teeth easily ( I have a bonded wire after banding) and really cleans well, but I don't need the extra long strand of dental floss which is at the end as I find it is too thick for cleaning between the rest of my teeth.

Used to be good but not anymore
This product used to be excellent for cleaning under my crowns, now the spongy part is too short and too thin to do much cleaning. The hard end that supposed to help to get it between the teeth is way too short and weak and it is really hard to work with. It even takes time to figure out which end is supposed to be the one, as they are too similar! Obviously you changed your supplier to reduce costs for yourself. I have now using brushes as I have no choice. Bring back the old product!!! No, I do not recommend this product.
