Before each use, thoroughly clean then sterilise the pacifier by either immersing the pacifier 
in a baby-bottle sterilising solution in accordance with the instructions for use of the sterilising solution 
or boiling the pacifier in water for 5 minutes. Pacifiers have a limited life. For safety and hygiene reasons, 
the dummy should be replaced after one to two months of use. A torn pacifier poses a choking hazard. 
Inspect carefully before each use, especially when the child has teeth. Pull the teat part in all directions. 
Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness. Do not dip teat in sweet substances (e.g. syrups, 
honey, jam) as this can lead to tooth decay. Do not attach to any part of the pacifier (i.e. around the ring, 
plug or through the ventilation holes) pins, ribbons or string as these can be strangulation hazards. A 
cord or ribbon attached to a pacifier poses a strangulation hazard. Do not attach a pacifier to your child’s 
clothing. Strangulation hazards include the cutting o of blood supply to fingers and limbs. Decoration 
should not be added to dummies as they may detach and the child could choke on them. In the event 
that the pacifier becomes lodged in the mouth, be aware it cannot be swallowed and is designed to cope 
with such an event. Remove from the mouth with care as gently as possible. Do not leave pacifier in 
direct sunlight when not in use or near a source of heat, or leave in a sterilising solution for longer than 
recommended, as this may weaken the teat. When pacifier is not intended to be used immediately after 
sterilisation, store in a dry, covered container. Do not leave child unattended while using this or any 
other pacifier. Always use this product with adult supervision.

Wash and boil pacifier prior 
to initial use. Wash regularly with hot, soapy water and rinse well. Do not place in dishwasher. Where the 
pacifier is constructed so that liquid can enter the teat or plug or both, shake the pacifier after washing 
it to ensure that no excess water remains inside before storing the pacifier. Dry thoroughly.
