MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION

Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

General Information
BIOGLAN Sleep Tablets are based on Homeopathic preparation.
Formulated according to the principles of homeopathic medicine. Each ingredient provides unique benefits to aid a better night's sleep.
Healthy hints
- Try and work out why you aren't sleeping. Tackling the underlying cause of your sleep problem is the best way to find a lasting solution.
- A quiet, dark and cool bedroom help to encourage sound sleep. Try an eye mask and earplugs to help block out light and noise.
- Create a calming pre-sleep routine for 30-60 minutes before bed.
- Go to bed and get up at the same time each day to help 'set' your internal body clock.
- Enjoy some regular physical activity.

Been using these for awhile and they work a treat. Whilst my mother prefers the gummies, I find these more effective and I only take a couple as opposed to the up to 5 recommended, no after effects the next morning either.

I had two tablets, half an hour before going to bed and anther one as I got in bed and I slept like a log! It was the best sleep I've had since I was a kid - I woke up really fresh too no drowsiness at all. Chewing was easy too they just taste a bit like sugar, 100% recommend.

Same product presented differently.
I contacted Bioglan when the previous melatonin product was discontinued. They had to change the label and add a couple of extra ingredients, but it is the same homeopathic melatonin strength as before. So if the old one worked for you, then this one will too.

Didn't work for me, sorry.
It didn't work for me, I eat healthy and very early dinner and then go to bed after 3/4 hours. Tried follow instructions but even 4-5pills didn't work for me. First couple of days I was hopeful as I was feeling at least little dozed off.
