- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
-
Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Beautiful conditioner

The conditioner is not overly thick, which for someone with finer hair like me is really nice. It has the most wonderful, subtle rose scent, which lingers even after rinsing and drying.
I found the conditioner didn’t weigh my hair down - a big bonus! It also didn’t leave my hair feeling greasy as a lot of conditioners can do.
My hairs condition over the few weeks drastically improved, I will continue to use and repurchase both products

It smells of roses like the name suggests and I find it really soothing. My hair is really dry and I noticed that it instantly felt so much more hydrated after just one use! The conditioner I found the scent to be extremely pleasing, not at all overpowering or too much , just right. My hair was left feeling smooth and was east to manage and style . Works great to reduce tangles
The scent of this is very light and rosy. It's not a strong rose scent. Subtle is what I'd call it. I find a very small amount does my hair for tangles and moisturising. I don't need much of this at all and it easily gets rid of my tangles in my very fine and tangly hair. So this pump pot of conditioner has lasted me for ages and ages. If I use too much I need to quickly rinse it out. My hair is left condiitoned and nurtured. This conditioner goes well with it's matching shampoo but honestly I can use it with any of my favourite shampoos successfully. When I use a small amount and leave it in for just a minute or so I find that this doesn't leave my hair heavy. If I leave it in too long it can leave my fine hair heavy - so easy does it and quickly with this conditioner. Not at all a bad thing as it makes it last longer and it's quick to use in the shower! The scent is so light that it doesn't stay in after I've rinsed it out of my hair.

This is a great quality hydrating conditioner. It’s full of antioxidants to protect and nourish hair, it smells amazing and leaves my hair super soft and shiny and sleek with no frizz. The handy pump bottle makes it easy to use and leaves no mess. It comes at a great price also so is great value for money. I use this after washing with the matching shampoo for great results. I have thick coloured hair and it works perfect for me, making my hair easier to style, it’s a great product for dry hair that needs nourishment and I will be buying it again

Great in conditioning the hair. Lightweight and leaving hair smooth and so easy to brush trough, wet or dry. The pump is great for dispensing the conditioner mess free. I use a lot as I have lots of fine hair and it is waist long. Also highlighted and prone to bad tangles. This conditioner is perfect for it.

Long lasting scent!

If you don't like the scent, be aware that it lasts on the hair for a long time after washing and drying. I didn't find this conditioner to be any more moisturising than other Pantene moisturising conditioners, but it did leave the hair soft and tangle-free.
